Mr. Toots Shor was a restaurateur and owner of the legendary Old New York restaurant “Toots Shor’s Restaurant”.  Mr. Shor kept close friends such as Frank Sinatra, Joe DiMaggio, Marilyn Monroe and just about every important celebrity from the 1940’s-1950’s.  Mr. Sintara even mentions Toot Shor’s Restaurant in his duet with Sammy Davis Jr., “My Shadow and Me”.  Check out some of the great paraphanelia and images below.

I found this amazing clip of Frank Sinatra singing “Fly Me to the Moon” from the special “Sinatra – A Man and His Music” from 1965.  Mr. Sinatra looks so slick and the sets are amazing!  I love that he has two big bands supporting him!
