November 25, 2010

I’m obsessed with this shaker made by The West Virginia Specialty Glass Co. circa 1937.

it should also have a silver stripe high up ot the leg and a design in the top of the foot

It’s a shame, the spout is not original and Carol is right, it should have a silver band at the top of the calf and a silver motif on the sides of the leg and on the top of the foot. I have 5 glasses that complete the set along with the shaker. I have seen one in very good condition sell for as much as $2,300.00.
