This old menu from the Lido in Paris is awesome!
Nice menu 🙂 fortunately in “ancient francs” ! I am still wondering about the “oeuf à cheval” (egg on a horse, literally translated)…

My wife and I were in Paris at the Lido one night
and were thrilled with the show. We were seated down
front next to the stage. Prior to the show, the band leader asked us to please dance, which we did and then others crowded the dance floor after seeing us get started. It was a wonderful evening and we enjoyed it very much. This was in the mid
seventies and we were part of a group of 100 on a business trip.We always wanted to return, but at age 93 all I can do is have a beautiful memory.
Thanks for the memory.
