The Musical Office – 1961 – Music by Esquivel!
February 8, 2009
I found this amazing innovative short produced by Ernie Kovacs in which the various objects of an office workspace come to life. The music they dance to is a medley (“Jalousie/Sentimental Journey”) by space age pop maestro Juan Esquivel.

1959 Pre-Twilight Zone Interview with Rod Serling
January 13, 2009
This 1959 Rod Serling interview with Mike Wallace is incredible. Besides Mr. Serling’s flawless style and his smoking on air, this interview is why Rod Serling gets so much coverage here on The Invisible Agent. I love Mr. Serling’s response when Rod’s new project “The Twilight Zone” comes up. Mr. Wallace asks him, “…You’re going to be, obviously, working so hard on The Twilight Zone that, in essence, for the time being and for the foreseeable future, you’ve given up on writing anything important for television, right?”
Little did he know at the time. Check out the interview in two parts below.

JJ Abrams Wears David Hart
December 13, 2008
Not only has JJ Abrams produced shows like LOST, Alias, and Fringe, he’s also the director of the new Star Trek movie. I am also very flattered that he wore my Robot Tie to the 18th Annual Beat the Odds Awards on December 4th. Thanks JJ! You look great!

Max Fleischer & Ub Iwerks – Great Early Cartoons
December 7, 2008
I love old cartoons from the 1930’s. I really enjoy the cartoons by Max Fleischer and Ub Iwerks.
Ub Iwerks is an american cartoonist who was famous for his work at Walt Disney and for work produced out of the Ub Iwerks Studio including early classics like “Flip the Frog”.
Max Fleischer created cartoon classics such as “Betty Boop” and “Popeye the Sailor”.
I used to watch these cartoons on Saturday morning when I was little. Two of my favorites are “Small Fry” by Max Fleischer and “Balloon Land” by Ub Iwerks. Check them both out below:
Small Fry – See what happens when a Small Frye tries to be a BIG Frye:
Balloon Land – Watch what happens when Pin Cushion Man comes to Balloon Land:

Modesty Blaise

Jeff Costello from "Le Samouri"

Cary Grant, having many alias in "Charade"
